Every piece at La Suite… is carefully selected, but we believe its story matters just as much. Our team loves discovering the story behind each item and passing it on to its next owner,  giving beautiful pieces a new chapter rather than simply a second life.

What’s New: Our Updated Selection Guidelines

As the pre-loved market continues to evolve, we have refined our selection criteria to focus on the pieces our clients are actively looking for and buying.

A more curated selection. We prioritize high-demand luxury labels such as Hermes, Chanel, Dior, Celine, Miu Miu, Loewe, Saint Laurent, Jacquemus, Prada,… as well as coveted Parisian-chic brands and selected Australian and American designers.

Recency matters. We primarily accept pieces from collections no more than three years old and in pristine condition. Exceptions are made for timeless classics and iconic pieces that remain relevant regardless of the season or year.

Style comes first. Beyond the brand itself, we look for pieces that feel current and desirable. This helps maximize their chances of selling quickly while keeping our collection fresh and relevant.

Before bringing your pieces to La Suite…, please make sure they are:

✔️ Free from damage — no holes, tears, broken zips or missing buttons
✔️ Free from stains, marks or odours
✔️ Free from noticeable fading or discolouration
✔️ Shoes in excellent condition and only lightly worn
✔️ Clean and freshly presented
✔️ Washed or professionally cleaned when appropriate
✔️ Ironed or steamed and ready to wear

Please note that items showing significant signs of wear may not be accepted, even if they meet our brand and style criteria.

Please also note that we are no longer able to arrange dry cleaning on behalf of our clients, as we cannot assume responsibility for any potential damage that may occur during the cleaning process. We therefore kindly ask that all items are cleaned prior to consignment.

To keep our selection current, wearable and aligned with the La Suite… aesthetic, we are generally more selective with:

• Collections older than 3 years, unless the piece is timeless, iconic or particularly desirable
• Wedding and Evening gowns and very formal occasion dresses
• Very high or difficult-to-wear heels
• Overly bold, flashy or dated prints
• Heavily embellished pieces
• Excessive logo branding or “logomania”
• Pieces made predominantly from lower-quality synthetic fabrics
• Fast-fashion brands and items
• Chunky or oversized platform sneakers
• Heavily distressed, ripped or very low-rise jeans
• Styles that are no longer in demand on the current resale market
  
  

Please keep in mind that these are guidelines rather than strict rules. Every piece is considered individually based on its brand, style, condition, seasonality and current desirability.
